To Run and Not Grow Tired is designed to help restore your soul by redirecting your focus-back to Jesus, "the author and perfecter of our faith." It contains twelve cameos of God's people under pressure-men and women of faith who survived life's adversity and stand before us now as eternal testimonies of the grace of God. They are the "cloud of witnesses" whose lives can be a source of insight, strength, and promise as we look to God to give us His strength when we feel too tired and overwhelmed to go on in the race He has called us to run. This small group consists of a Bible study as well as a Saturday morning walk or run at the Towpath trail in Waterville. You are welcome to join us for either the study, the walk/run or both! Participants are invited to register for the Glass City Marathon, Half Marathon, relay or 5k at the University of Toledo in April.

Yvonne accepted Jesus as her personal savior 27 years ago while serving in the United States Navy. She is passionate about encouraging others in both their physical and spiritual health in order to help them "run with perseverance the race marked out for them". She ran her first race, The Chicago Marathon, at age 45 and continues to run half marathons and 5k’s through a program that matches runners with those who cannot run. Yvonne enjoys serving at FTCC in the Children’s Ministry and in the Youth Group as a youth sponsor. She has been married to Philip for 25 years and they have 4 children between the ages of 23 and 7.
